The 12th International Conference on CMC and Social Media Corpora for the Humanities (CMC-Corpora) was held at the University of Bayreuth, Germany, on the 4th and 5th of September, 2025, hosted by the Department of German (Applied) Linguistics. The submission deadline for short papers and abstracts was 28 May 2025.

The 11th Conference on Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) and Social Media Corpora was held on Thursday, the 5th and Friday, the 6th of September 2024 at the Université Côte d’Azur (Nice, France).

The 10th Conference on Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) and Social Media Corpora was held in Mannheim, Germany, 14-15 September 2023. It was hosted at the University of Mannheim, Germany in collaboration with the Leibniz Institute for the German Language (IDS).

The 9th Conference on Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) and Social Media Corpora was held in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, 28-29 September 2022. It was be hosted by the Faculty of Philology of the University of Santiago de Compostela.

The 8th edition of the Conference on Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) and Social Media Corpora took place in Nijmegen, the Netherlands on Thursday 28 - Friday 29 October 2021.

CMC2021 was the 8th edition of an annual conference series dedicated to the development, analysis, and processing of corpora of computer-mediated communication (CMC) and social media for research in the humanities. The conference brought together language-centred research on CMC and social media in linguistics, communication sciences, media studies, and social sciences with research questions from the fields of corpus and computational linguistics, language and text technology, and machine learning. Because of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the conference took place in hybrid form.

The conference brought together language-centered research on CMC and social media in linguistics, philologies, communication sciences, media and social sciences with research questions from the fields of corpus and computational linguistics, language technology, text technology, and machine learning.
